The Sickles Gryphons lacrosse team scored 11 points and limited the host Manatee Hurricanes to 9 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Gryphons (5-11) will now prepare for their game against Alonso (Tampa, FL). The Ravens enter the non-league game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, Alonso edged Lakeland (Lakeland, FL), 11-3, in a non-league game.
The Hurricanes (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Lakewood Ranch nudged Manatee (Bradenton, FL), 17-2, in a league match.
