In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Lincoln Lutheran Warriors soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Gross Catholic Cougars.
The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Nebraska City was nudged by The Platte (Plattsmouth, NE), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
