The Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) softball routed the host Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL), 5-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Sequoits (7-0) will now prepare for their bout against Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Bulldogs go into the Northern Lake County bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Wauconda held off Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL), 16-10, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Joliet West for a non-league bout on Monday, April 11. Leyden will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
