Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now sport a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Venice for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9. Bonita will face a Gondoliers squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Arleta falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA) to face the Huskies in a East Valley challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 4-8. North Hollywood lost 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Poly (Sun Valley, CA)
