North Carolina High School Softball - Central Cabarrus can't hold off West Stanly

The Central Cabarrus Vikings softball team (Concord, NC), was tipped 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test with the host West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC)

Coming up next, the Colts encounter the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 11. West Stanly will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Comets come into the test with a 11-4 record after their 9-0 league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).

The Vikings (11-3) will now prepare for their test against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs come into the South Piedmont 3A test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, East Rowan edged West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 19-0, in a non-league test.
