Coffee County Central Red Raiders (Manchester, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Soddy Daisy Trojans (Soddy Daisy, TN), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Raiders now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Powell for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9. Coffee County Central will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Lakeway Christian Academy (Morristown, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Soddy Daisy falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Marion County (Jasper, TN) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Marion County lost 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN)
