Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) and the host Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL), witnessed Kewanee's softball squad tip Farmington by a count of 6-2.

The Boilermakers now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Geneseo for a non-league match on Monday, April 11. Kewanee will face a Maple Leafs squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Newark (Newark, IL). The Maple Leafs record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Farmington moves to 3-2 on the season. The Farmers travel to Lewistown (Lewistown, IL) to face the Indians in a Prairieland match on Monday, April 25. The Indians go into the match with a record of 4-1.
