In Saturday's non-league contest, the West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID) softball team held off the visiting Grangeville Bulldogs (Grangeville, ID), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, West Side moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Ririe (Ririe, ID) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Friday, April 15. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 0-7.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Orofino Maniacs (Orofino, ID) in a 2A Central Idaho contest, on Tuesday, April 12. Grangeville will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Maniacs come into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 9-2 league loss to St. Maries (St. Maries, ID).
