North Carolina High School Softball - Pinecrest Gray's Creek

April 9, 2022: Hope Mills, NC 28348

The Gray's Creek Bears softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Pinecrest Patriots to 1 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Gray's Creek improves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to clash with the Pirates in a United Eight 3A/4A game on Tuesday, April 12. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 11-5.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 11. Pinecrest will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Buccaneers come into the game with a 4-9 record after their 15-8 non-league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC).
