Tennessee High School Softball - Riverdale Union County

The Union County Patriots softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Riverdale Warriors to 2 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Union County moves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to Gibbs (Corryton, TN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, April 11. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 17-3. Gibbs lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Baylor (Chattanooga, TN)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions (Morristown, TN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 9. Riverdale will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 11-4 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN).
