In Sunday's non-league game, the visiting Poland Seminary Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Whetstone Braves.
The Bulldogs (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Halifax County was overwhelmed by Whetstone (Columbus, OH), 6-1, in a non-league game.
