The Appoquinimink Jaguars baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Newark Yellowjackets to 1 in the Jaguars league victory on Tuesday.
The Jaguars (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA). The Friars/Pandas go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic gained a win over Devon Prep (Devon, PA), 7-1, in a league match.
The Yellowjackets (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Hodgson Vo-Tech was overwhelmed by Concord (Wilmington, DE), 7-3, in a league match.
