Game Summary
Northwestern got a big road win under the lights Tuesday night, at Bangor Memorial Park by the score of 3-1. In a well played, classic low scoring battle, senior Shaun O'Donnell owned the night for the Tigers. The only run he allowed on the night was in the 2nd inning, an inning which started with bases loaded, nobody out, O'Donnell was able to minimize the damage,and hold the Slaters to 1 run. N'Western tied the game in the 4th, with a 2 out, RBI single by C. Dynda. Then in the 5th, the Tigers took the lead for good, with back to back, 2 out, RBI singles by W. Church and N. Fitzgerald. This would be plenty on this night for O'Donnell, as he went the distance on the mound, giving up 3 hits, 1 run, striking out 11, and walking 2. The win puts the Tigers at 5-3, 4-1 on the season.
