In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Manton Rangers baseball team scored a nice 17-8 victory over the Frankfort Panthers.
The Rangers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Manistee (Manistee, MI). The Chippewas go into the non-league game with a 4-0 record.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI). The Norsemen go into the Northwest game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Suttons Bay was overwhelmed by St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI), 4-2, in a non-league game.
