The Pomperaug Panthers got by the host Oxford Wolverines baseball team by a count of 11-10 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Plainville for a non-league bout on Friday, April 12. Pomperaug will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 10-4 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-3.
Next, the Wolverines face the Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper bout, on Wednesday, April 10. Oxford will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 4-2 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, CT).
