The St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) volleyball overcame the visiting Asbury Park Bishops (Asbury Park, NJ), 2-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, St. John-Vianney upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Lancers travel to Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ) to face the Bengals in a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 10. The Bengals go into the outing with a record of 3-0.
The Bishops now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Long Branch for a Shore - B North outing on Thursday, April 11. Asbury Park will face a Green Wave squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ). The Green Wave record now stands at 1-1.
