The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Kirkwood Pioneers (Kirkwood, MO) and the host Hazelwood West Wildcats (Hazelwood, MO), saw Kirkwood's volleyball squad beat Hazelwood West by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Kirkwood upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Pioneers host Parkway North (St. Louis, MO) to confront the Vikings in a Class 1 District 5 test on Thursday, April 11. The Vikings enter the test with a record of 9-2. Parkway North won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Seckman (Imperial, MO)
The Wildcats (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Ritenour (Overland, MO). The Huskies enter the Class 1 District 5 test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Ritenour was knocked off by Clayton (St. Louis, MO), 3-2, in a non-league test.
