Illinois High School Soccer - Lincoln Park nudges Taft

Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 11. Lincoln Park will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).

The Eagles now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leyden for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12.
