The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) soccer bounced the host Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC), 7-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the win, Cape Fear Academy moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to battle the Trojans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 10. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 2-5. West Brunswick lost 9-0 in their recent league contest against Laney (Wilmington, NC)
The Chargers now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wayne Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 16.
