Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Dutchtown Bulldogs (Hampton, GA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates confront the Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, April 12. Pike County will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 5-1 league loss to Jackson (Jackson, GA).

The Bulldogs now have a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Social Circle for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. Dutchtown will confront a Redskins team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 13-2.
