Waynesville Spartans (Waynesville, OH) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH), 12-8 in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Little Miami for a non-league battle on Friday, April 12. Waynesville will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Turpin (Cincinnati, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
In their next game, the Thunderbolts clash with the Centerville Elks (Centerville, OH) in a Region 3 battle, on Wednesday, April 10. Northmont will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Elks come into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Dublin Coffman (Dublin, OH).
