In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Pelham Panthers soccer squad scored a close 2-0 win over the Gardendale Rockets.
The Panthers (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Helena (Helena, AL). The Huskies go into the 6A Area 8 battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Helena McAdory (McCalla, AL), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
The Rockets (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Huffman (Birmingham, AL). The Vikings go into the 6A Area 11 battle with a 11-4 record.
