The Monroe Hornets routed the visiting Archbishop Alter Knights softball squad by a final score of 17-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Princeton (Cincinnati, OH). The Vikings go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record.
