The Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons routed the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs softball squad by a final score of 9-2 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD). The go into the Washington Catholic battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Elizabeth Seton was routed by Northern (Owings, MD), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host National Cathedral for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 11. Bishop McNamara will battle a squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA). The record now stands at 1-3.
