Manson Trojans (Manson, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cascade Kodiaks (Leavenworth, WA), 19-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brewster for a 2B Central Washington challenge on Thursday, April 11. Manson will battle a Bears squad coming off a 19-4 league win over Liberty Bell (Winthrop, WA). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Cascade falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Kodiaks travel to Cashmere (Cashmere, WA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 1A Caribou Trail challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Cashmere won 20-7 in their recent league challenge against Quincy (Quincy, WA)
