The Mountaineers now sport a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buffalo for a non-league match on Thursday, April 11. Mt. Vernon will face a Bison squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Warsaw (Warsaw, MO). The Bison record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Fair Grove falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Ava (Ava, MO) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Friday, April 12. The Bears enter the match with a record of 10-5.
