The Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL) softball nipped the visiting Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL), 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bunnies (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Tri-Valley (Downs, IL). The Vikings go into the Heart of Illinois bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Tri-Valley held off Eureka (Eureka, IL), 16-2, in a league bout.
The Storm now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Watseka for a Vermilion Valley bout on Friday, April 12. Salt Fork will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 8-2.
