The Hancock Eagles softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Goode STEM Academy Knights to 1 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Hancock moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Eagles host Whitney Young (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Dolphins in a Chicago Public Red game on Thursday, April 11. The Dolphins come into the game with a record of 8-5. Whitney Young won 16-0 in their recent league game against Jones (Chicago, IL)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Juarez Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public White Central game, on Wednesday, April 10. Goode STEM Academy will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 5-3 record after their 16-1 league win over Kelly (Chicago, IL).
