Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Varsity Opponent (, ) and the host Gorton Wolves (Yonkers, NY), witnessed Varsity Opponent's softball squad tip Gorton by a count of 14-9.

The now sport a 19-65 record. They play next when they travel to Autaugaville for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 9. Varsity Opponent will face a Eagles squad coming off a 19-4 non-league win over Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.
