Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Carroll for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Penns Valley Area will face a Huskies squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Hollidaysburg falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Golden tigers travel to Bedford (Bedford, PA) to face the Bisons in a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Bisons enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
