The Eagles now own a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meridian for a 1A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, April 12. Jonesboro will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Hico (Hico, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Itasca falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wampus cats travel to Hico (Hico, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 1A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 15-9.
