The Mt. Zion Braves softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Normal Community Ironmen to 4 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mt. Zion improves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Braves host Metamora (Metamora, IL) to clash with the Redbirds in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 10. The Redbirds come into the game with a record of 9-2. Metamora won 2-1 in their recent league game against Washington (Washington, IL)

In their next game, the Ironmen clash with the Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL) in a Big Twelve game, on Thursday, April 11. Normal Community will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Charleston (Charleston, IL).
