Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anthony Wayne for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. Whiteford will face a Generals squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Findlay (Findlay, OH). The Generals record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Trenton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI) to face the Bears in a Downriver challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Roosevelt won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Anderson (Southgate, MI)
