The Walnut Ridge Bobcats baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Armorel Tigers to 6 in the Bobcats non-league win on Wednesday.
The Bobcats now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Harrisburg for a 3A Region 3 test on Thursday, April 10. Walnut Ridge will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Newport (Newport, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 10-4.
With the defeat, Armorel drops to 10-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR) to clash with the Indians in a 1A Region 3 test on Thursday, April 10. The Indians go into the test with a record of 3-5.
