In Wednesday's league bout, the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) baseball squad the visiting Hotchkiss School Bearcats (Lakeville, CT), by a tally of 6-1.

Next up, the Beavers encounter the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) in a Founders bout, on Saturday, April 12. Avon Old Farms will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Big Red enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 12-2 league win over Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT).

The Bearcats (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT). The Pelicans enter the Founders bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Loomis Chaffee School was overwhelmed by Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT), 8-4, in a league bout.
