The Farmville Central Jaguars baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Rosewood Eagles to 0 in the Jaguars non-league win on Wednesday.
The Jaguars now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Goldsboro for a non-league test on Friday, April 11. Farmville Central will play a Cougars team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-10.
With the defeat, Rosewood drops to 13-6 on the year. The Eagles host North Duplin (Calypso, NC) to play the Rebels in a Carolina 1A test on Tuesday, April 15. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 7-6. North Duplin won 21-0 in their recent league test against Union (Rose Hill, NC)
