The South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), 13-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host A.L. Brown for a Greater Metro 4A challenge on Friday, April 11. South Iredell will clash with a Wonders team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Concord (Concord, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 4-13.
With the defeat, Forbush drops to 10-7 on the year. The Falcons travel to North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a Foothills 2A challenge on Friday, April 11. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 6-10. North Wilkes lost 7-3 in their recent league challenge against Forbush (East Bend, NC)
