The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays to 5 in the Hilltoppers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Hilltoppers now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delavan for a Tomahawk test on Thursday, April 10. Mt. Pulaski will play a Panthers team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central drops to 7-4 on the year. The Bluejays host Riverton (Riverton, IL) to play the Hawks in a Sangamo test on Thursday, April 10. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 1-4.
