California High School Baseball - Paramount defeats Oxford Academy

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Paramount Pirates baseball team scored a close 10-4 victory over the Oxford Academy Patriots.
The Pirates (11-7) will now prepare for their game against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Stars go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Mary Star of the Sea nipped Verbum Dei Jesuit (Los Angeles, CA), 31-0, in a league test.
With the defeat, Oxford Academy drops to 4-13 on the year. The Patriots host Whitney (Cerritos, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a 605 test on Friday, April 11. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 4-7. Whitney lost 12-1 in their recent league test against Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA)
