The Lyons Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Downers Grove South for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 10. Lyons will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Waubonsie Valley drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Marmion (Aurora, IL) to play the Cadets in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 10. The Cadets come into the outing with a record of 4-8. Marmion won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL)
