The South El Monte Eagles (South El Monte, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Maranatha Minutemen (Pasadena, CA), 13-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host La Salle for a challenge on Saturday, April 19. South El Monte will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Maranatha drops to 2-3 on the year. The Minutemen travel to San Marino (San Marino, CA) to clash with the Titans in a challenge on Saturday, April 26. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 1-4.
