In Wednesday's non-league test, the Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) lacrosse team edged the visiting East Lake Eagles (Tarpon Springs, FL), by a count of 9-8.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 11. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Coyotes enter the test with a 12-2 record after their 16-2 non-league win over Largo (Largo, FL).
