The Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) lacrosse routed the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), 17-3 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Patriots now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wakefield for a Liberty outing on Wednesday, April 23. Yorktown will face a Warriors squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, West Springfield falls to 5-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA) to face the Titans in a Patriot outing on Friday, April 25. The Titans go into the outing with a record of 7-3.
