Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA) and the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), saw Waynesboro's soccer squad hold off Charlottesville by a count of 1-0.

The Little Giants (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators enter the Shenandoah battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Riverheads was edged by Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Black Knights battle the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a Jefferson battle, on Thursday, April 10. Charlottesville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 5-2 league loss to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA).
