The Pinckney Pirates soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Corunna Cavaliers to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ypsilanti for a non-league bout on Monday, April 14. Pinckney will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Taylor Prep (Taylor, MI). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Corunna moves to 0-2 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Goodrich (Goodrich, MI) to play the Martians in a Genesee Area bout on Friday, April 11. The Martians go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
