Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC), 9-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Rocky Mount Academy advances its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 5-5.

The Spartans now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrells Christian Academy for a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A battle on Thursday, April 17. Kerr-Vance Academy will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 1-0 league win over The Oakwood School (Greenville, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-6.
