In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) baseball squad the visiting Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY), by a tally of 9-4.
Next up, the Eagles encounter the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 10. Scott will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Thoroughbreds enter the bout with a 3-7 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY).
The Indians (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Dixie Heights was overwhelmed by Ryle (Union, KY), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
