The Kearny Komets baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Southwest SD Raiders to 2 in the Komets non-league win on Wednesday.

The Komets now own a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Francis Parker for a non-league test on Friday, April 11. Kearny will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Southwest SD drops to 1-5 on the year. The Raiders host Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Rattlers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Rattlers go into the test with a record of 3-5. Canyon Hills lost 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Olympian (Chula Vista, CA)
