In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Polk County Wolverines baseball team scored a nice 19-5 win over the North Henderson Knights.
The Wolverines (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Hendersonville was overwhelmed by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 10-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Knights play the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 14. North Henderson will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC).
