New Mexico High School Softball - Highland succumbs to St. Pius X

In Wednesday's non-league test, the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), by a tally of 18-8.
Next, the Sartans clash with the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 16. St. Pius X will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record.
The Hornets (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Valencia prevailed over St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM), 24-7, in a non-league test.
